ECS Recruitment is currently seeking 2-3 highly skilled and experienced Lightning Protection Site Technicians to join our client’s team on both permanent and set contract terms.
The ideal candidate will be safety conscious, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and test Lightning Protection Systems.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Read and interpret site drawings and mark up as needed.
- Complete SPA’s and RAMS on a daily basis.
- Participate in ongoing training and upskilling with the company.
Requirements:
- SafePass Certification.
- Full and clean driving license (must be aged 25+ for our insurance policy).
- Manual Handling Certification.
- IPAF Certification (3a & 3b).
- WAH & Harness Certification (desirable).
- Abrasive Wheels Certification (desirable).
- Electrical qualification (desirable).
- First Aid Certification (desirable).
- Fire Safety Certification (desirable).
- UK CSCS Card (BLUE) – a bonus but not compulsory.
- Excellent English both oral and written.
- Full right to work in Ireland.
- Competent record keeper and I.T. use (MS Office/Outlook & ideally Autocad).
- Safety conscious.
- Familiar with daily SPA’s & RAMS.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and on own initiative with direction/training.
- Ability to read and mark up site drawings (specific training can be given to use of our specialist products).
