As a Cloud Architect at Waters Brasov, you will work on projects critical to our Informatics business needs.

As a Cloud Architect you will:
- Build and detail cloud solution architecture designs
- Act as an architectural design authority
- Communicate designs to the collaborators
- Produce Proof of Concepts in high-risk areas to de-risk architecture
- Resolve challenges of highly sophisticated technical issues
- Seek out and provide mentorship on improving engineering practices and technologies
- Mentor others on architectural concepts and infrastructure
To be successful you will:
- Experience with one or more cloud providers, e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP
- Experience in application architecture, database architecture, networking and security
- Proven experience leading or developing quality, enterprise software products using a structured system development life cycle, preferably in an agile environment
- Understanding of emerging cloud provider technologies and services
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills with proven authority and credibility at senior levels
- Professional English speaking and writing
Desirable but not crucial:
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes is highly desirable
- NoSQL databases, Big Data technologies, Data Lakes
- Strong understanding for scalable architecture patterns; microservices, event-driven systems, Domain Driven Design, chaos resiliency
