Optimal GPR & CCTV Drain Inspection is your local drain inspection and investigation of underground utility specialists in Auckland. Due to the continuous expansion of our business, we are in need of plumbers assistants to commit in continuing to provide outstanding services to our customers.
Job Title: Plumbers Assistant
Hourly rate: $26.70 to $30
Number of vacancies: 5

Minimum and Maximum Hours per week: 30-35 Hours
Job description:
- Confirm work instructions with plumber, set up equipment at the beginning of the shift, and gather them at the end of day
- Study blueprints to assess required tools, equipment, and supplies, and make arrangements to have them procured
- Acquire supplies such as pipe, fitting glue, and nails, after making sure that they are the right types and sizes
- Deliver construction materials, tools and equipment to appropriate job sites in a timely manner
- Follow instructions to saw or cut materials, erect structures, assemble, nail and glue etc
- Oversee inventory of supplies and tools, and report to the superior
- Gather all supplies and tools at the end of the day, and ensure that they are put away in a safe and accessible place
Job pre-requisites:
- Experience is not mandatory as training will be provided, however, it would be advantageous if you have any prior relevant experience
- Honest, punctual with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn as well as willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test are a must
- Clean criminal record
- Ability to follow instructions and attention to details
- Able to work in a team as well as autonomously
