Objectives of the Position
In this role, you will drive the digital and agile transformation in APAC by supporting BASF’s Operating Divisions and Service Units to educate and develop their employees. Additionally, you will help to further develop the Digital Hub in Kuala Lumpur as part of the local leadership team.
Main Tasks
- Provide learning offerings with digitalization content and create an understanding for digitalization as well as for agility for the various target groups to enable a successful digital transformation
- Support and drive measures to create a digital enabling culture including leadership aspects
- Collaborate closely with Regional HR on digitalization topics
- Develop and maintain a community of key stakeholders in Asia Pacific including business units, relevant Regional or Country HR counterparts and SSC. Share best practice, recommend digital and agile solutions, provide consultative advice along the process including developing strategies, frameworks and programs in alignment with the global service offerings.
- Maintain a high-level overview of the learning agenda in the region to ensure efficient deployment of learning resources across the organization. Identify digital opportunities to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness in Asia Pacific. Partner with stakeholders, relevant Regional or Country HR counterparts and SSC to introduce the digital solutions
- Support the ODs/ FDs with the build-up of digital talent and enable new ways of working by applying suitable measures as part of the corporate strategy implementation
- Support building a vision for the Future of Work at BASF and derive concrete actions
- Promote and drive the digital transformation of HR in Asia Pacific and serve as a central contact point to relevant stakeholders
- Act as people partner for a team in and beyond the own functional area - guide, coach and develop team members together with the respective functional manager and ensure local HR aspects are considered.
- Drive the strategic development of the Digital Hub Kuala Lumpur as part of the leadership team
Requirements
Education
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in business, informatics, HR or related field.
Working Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the area of change & learning, HR and community management.
- Experience to coach and lead teams
Technical & Professional Knowledge (Mandatory)
- Proven understanding of digital solutions and the impact of the digital transformation towards the workforce
- Experience in the implementation of change & learning concepts
Technical & Professional Knowledge (Additional)
- Training or certificates in agile methods, e.g.: SCRUM, Design Thinking, OKR’s, Agility Master or Coach, etc.
- Familiarity with Digital technology - e.g.: Machine leaning / artificial intelligence, Metaverse and other platforms, etc
